In 2006 Erica Mitchell was awarded a 4-year tuition scholarship to University of North Florida for her successful participation in the Jacksonville Jaguar Honor Rows program through the Journey Into Womanhood Program. |

Participants in the Spring of 2007 collected over 230 new undergarments for a clothing drive for Dignity U Wear to benefit underprivileged children. In return JIW youth were able to decorate the program director in a toilet paper dress. |

JIW participants with the most points from program were awarded tickets to the Lion King in the Spring of 2007. |

In December, JIW has their group community
service project, the “Mayor’s
Holiday Festival”. All youth are
required and encouraged to give back
to the community by volunteering.
